WELCOME - I AM DAISY PEACH
Posted on June 04 2022,

Hi Friends – I am Daisy Peach, just a Southern girl who loves to share my Southern world. I am a forty (something) mom of an amazing teenager, Emma, and wife to my soulmate, Rob. We live in Nashville, TN and enjoy all things southern, casual, cozy and fun!
My friends describe me as someone who embraces all things southern; enjoys cooking; worships my family; is obsessed with all holidays; and lives to laugh, love and share my passions. I am also slightly infatuated with my cats, Ava and Bentley. They are members of our family and create tons of laughs with their antics and photo ops...oh and get ready...there are plenty!!! You will see them!
I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. After I graduated from high school, I attended Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. After graduating in 2002, Rob and I moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C., got married and started a ten year career in public relations and Rob rocked his journey in auto mechanics. We had Emma in 2008 and decided we wanted to move back to Tennessee. In 2010, we made that journey and settled in Nashville. I started my career in insurance and Rob continued his auto journey and became a master mechanic at Lexus.
Wanna know my passions? I love a theme!! Whether it be a sleepover for Emma or a gift basket for a friend...themes make my heart happy. In fact, I host themed sleepovers all year. Valentine’s, End of School; Summer, Halloween, Christmas...you name it, I have hosted it. When Emma graduates I don’t know what I am going to do. School parties and spending time with my girl is my life. As you can see, I love being a mom! I joke with Emma that when she goes to college, I am going to rent the dorm next to hers so we can continue our “Gilmore Girls” relationship!!! Love that girl!
There wouldn’t be an Emma if there wasn’t a Rob. Oh my sweet Rob. My soulmate. The one who makes me laugh and the one who loves me unconditionally. I would not be where I was if it was not for my man! We met when I was 19 years old. I always joke and say he was 40 but actually he was 22. We knew instantly we were soulmates and married when I was 22 and he was 25. He is the Ying to my Yang. The ice cream to my cake. The bacon to my eggs. Love that man! In June 2020, we found out that Rob had Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Our world stopped. But our love and our determination to grow old together has pushed through this horrible news. We are still fighting but we are going to beat this. Our love is stronger than cancer ever could be...which is why I know that whatever cancer brings...it will lose! We will win! As my cancer warrior friends would say...#KFG...look it up!!!
As a true southerner, family and family traditions are EVERYTHING!!!! Family recipes, support, traditions and love are what guide us through this journey!
I think this is why my love for the traditions of the south just makes my heart smile. It makes me feel comforted and hugged by all the southerners who have come before me. If there is one thing I can say about the ancestors of the south. They love fiercely. I love fiercely. Our traditions, food, celebrations and history are powerful and something to be enjoyed by all.
I invite you to take this journey with me. I can’t wait to share my love of the south with you!
